With all the hubbub surrounding the new GT2RS I began thinking that the car is very impressive in both presence and performance but it seems rather cold and calculated. If given the choice I think I would rather go with the car that coined the Widowmaker moniker, the 996 GT2, I am one of the few that like the headlights plus the car is a manual, has relatively basic equipment, and is smaller compared to the modern iterations. That being said I hope Porsche does a regular GT2 991.2 complete with manual option because variety is the spice of life.

There’s been one for sale at my local Porsche dealer for awhile.

I simply cannot get over that cheap plastic and strange reflective metal roundel on the headlights.

I didn’t realize they made a 996 GT2... But dang, those headlights really ruin an otherwise beautiful car :/
But hey, I think Porsche really did enthusiasts a favor with the 996 because of their questionable style (aka headlights), hopefully keeping values a bit lower.

Yeah I realized that after I posted it, completely forgot about the 930. I blew it.

Probably the headlight washer system. Unfortunately it is not too subtle but I didn’t really notice it until it was pointed out.
